Small Tote Bag.

My daughter has a “Fourth Grade Buddy” who comes to her preschool class to play, read, talk, and make crafts with her. Each preschooler has a Buddy, and my daughter’s is especially cool. All year long, her Buddy has made coloring pages, mobiles, cards, you name it. Everything is so sweet — I even had the chance to meet her last week, and she is so sweet too. Preschool graduation is this Wednesday, and so for the end of the year, we decided to make her Buddy something and buy her something too. So my daughter and I went shopping together this weekend and found a pretty necklace, and then I made this little tote bag. It has a fruit print on the one side and a brown and white (even though it looks black & white in the photo) polka dot print on the other. There is a long pocket inside — good for pens and/or sunglasses. I used the print from Amy Karol’s Bend the Rules Sewing.

On a side note, this is not my preschooler holding the tote... my littler one happened to hold it to the side I wanted to show, so her photo made the cut!
